School Announcements

2025-2026 School Year

Ramadan
As Ramadan begins, we extend our best wishes to all who are observing this sacred month. May this time of reflection, gratitude, and community bring you peace and blessings. There will be a classroom available for students who wish to spend their lunch break in a quiet and food-free setting. We also have a Prayer Room that is open at both lunch breaks and can be accessed at any time during break. If you require other accommodations for your child during Ramadan, please reach out to your child's homeroom teacher.

Black History Events at Centennial & HDSB
Throughout the month of February, students across the Halton District School Board will engage in learning experiences that recognize, celebrate, and honour the histories, contributions, and leadership of Black Canadians, past and present.

At Centennial, we will be supporting this learning through the 2026 Black History Month J.O.Y. resource by Sadhiat, which centres student voice, daily storytelling, and meaningful reflection.

This resource supports deeper student understanding, strengthens a sense of belonging, and helps classrooms build empathy and historical awareness in ways that are engaging and memorable for students.

Fundraiser with Terra Cotta Cookies
Centennial will be doing a Terra Cotta Cookie Dough Fundraiser. It will be online from February 19-March 12th.

Family Day is Monday, February 16
The school is closed. To our students and their families, we wish you a happy Family Day weekend.
