HDSB Secondary School Open House

On Saturday, September 26, 2026, the Halton District School Board will host a board-wide, interactive Open House at Craig Kielburger Secondary School in Milton from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

This event is designed to help students in Grades 6–10 and their families explore the full range of opportunities available across our secondary schools, including programs and pathways, academics, athletics, clubs, community and support and student life.

  Field Hockey Attention all students interested in joining the junior field hockey team. Practice is on the field today starting at 2:50pm. No experience necessary.
     
  Boys Volleyball This announcement is for anyone interested in trying out for BOYS VOLLEYBALL. If you want to TRYOUT for boys volleyball please come by the phys ed office near the gym to sign up and grab a form. Tryouts start this FRIDAY after school.
     
  Girls Basketball This announcement is for anyone interested in playing on the GIRL BASKETBALL team. If you want to TRYOUT for the girls basketball team please come by the phys ed office near the gym to sign up and grab a form. Tryouts start this Thursday after school.
     
  CK Football Your CKSS Football team is holding tryouts this week and next every day after school on the field. Please grab a form from the physed office if you haven't already and bring it to the tryout signed. All grades welcome, no experience needed. If you have questions see Mr. Hughes or Mr. Burke
     
Sept. 10 Cross country practice Anyone interested in running cross country is asked to meet in portable 1 after school. Practices will run Monday through Thursday. No experience is required. Please see Mr Crowe or pick up an athletic form from the gym office.
     
  Eco Club First Meeting Spartans! Save and protect the environment! Join Eco Club for its first meeting on Tuesday, Sept 14th in Room 208 @ the beginning of Period 3 lunch. That's Eco Club, Room 208, Tuesday at lunch.
     
  Business Council Are you interested in helping to run business competitions at CKSS like the Stock Market Challenge? Anyone interested in being on the executive for Business Council should meet with Mrs. Hill on Tue at 10:45 in room 222.
     
Sept. 14 Club de français Bonjour CK! If you are interested in the French language and culture, French Club is the place for you. Whether you need help with French homework or studying, or you're looking to speak and promote the French language, French Club is here for you. Meetings are every Friday in room 203 at lunch.
