Blue Jays Day - Monday, Oct. 27

Our Toronto Blue Jays are heading to the World Series, and we’re celebrating in true HDSB style! Monday, Oct. 27 is Blue Jays Day — a time to come together, celebrate community and share in the fun of cheering for Canada’s team.

Schulich Leader Scholarships awarded to HDSB’s Diya Kalia and Heidi Huang

Two HDSB students have been selected to become 2025 Schulich Leaders. Diya Kalia, Grade 12 student from Garth Webb Secondary School, and Heidi Huang, Grade 12 student from Iroquois Ridge High School, have both received the honour for their outstanding achievements and character.

Two Grade 11 students from White Oaks Secondary School have achieved a remarkable milestone, being among only three students selected by the Harvard Club of Toronto to receive the 2025 Harvard Prize Book.
