Upcoming Events @ MD
Dear Parents/Guardians/Students,
Update on 2026-27 Timetables and Course Changes
At this time, guidance counsellors will be prioritizing students who have conflicts in their 2026–27 timetables. Students with a timetable conflict will be called to the guidance office to meet with a counsellor to resolve their conflict.
Once all timetable conflicts have been resolved, counsellors will begin addressing course change requests. We kindly ask that students wait to contact their guidance counsellor about course changes until this process is complete.
Students are reminded to check their Google Classroom on a regular basis. We will post on each Google Classroom once course changes are open.

Have You Signed Up for Relay for Life?
This year’s event will be held on Monday, May 25th, 9:30am - 2:40 pm at the MDHS Track. Relay for Life is a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society to provide a national support system for people with cancer and their families. Our school’s goal this year is to raise $40,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society. Last year we raised over $45,000 as a school!
Students can sign up at relayforlife.ca/MD. The cost is $15 which covers entry into the event, a T-shirt, pizza lunch, luminary bag and entertainment. We are encouraging students to raise a minimum $100. Attached you will find the permission form and a tentative event schedule. Students can pick up and return forms to the Business Office.
We look forward to a fun day to support, celebrate and remember those who are living with and who have lived with cancer. Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Mr. Puffer & The Relay for Life Student Committee
