The Halton District School Board Student Attire policy is designed to support a positive learning and working environment that reflects the values of the Halton District School Board (HDSB). It offers guidance to ensure student attire contributes to a safe, inclusive, and respectful school community for students, staff, and visitors.

Human Rights and Equity Considerations

Student attire practices must respect the dignity and rights of all individuals, regardless of race, age, disability, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, ethnic origin or creed. This work aligns with the following HDSB policies and protocols:
