Delegating the Board

Members of the public are welcome to watch Board meetings in person or online. Seating is strictly limited to 60 persons in our public gallery on a first-come, first-served basis.

To ensure the safety of all who attend our Board Meetings, attendees will be required to present identification and sign in to gain access to the meeting. For more information about our privacy practices, please review the HDSB’s Statement of Personal Information Practices

The public is reminded that Board meetings and observers do not have an opportunity to speak at or during the meeting unless they are scheduled to present or delegate before the Board.

Members of the public wishing to make a presentation to the Board of Trustees of the Halton District School Board - either at a regularly scheduled Board meeting, or a special delegation evening - are requested to follow the delegation process outlined in the Communicating with Trustees and Delegating the Board Governance Procedure.
