2025/2026 Long Term Accommodation Plan (LTAP)
The Halton District School Board’s Facility Services and Planning Departments have transitioned the Long-Term Accommodation Plan (LTAP) to a virtual and interactive site that community members can easily navigate to better understand future enrolment projections, school facility information, key performance indicators, and future projects in their communities over a 15-year time period. The draft 2025/2026 LTAP site is now available, with an abridged physical/PDF copy coming in June of 2026.
2025/2026 LTAP Public Feedback
The HDSB invites community members to share feedback on the proposed priority projects included in the 2025 LTAP through our feedback survey between May 13, 2026 and May 20, 2026. The collected feedback will be shared and presented to Halton District School Board Trustees to inform decision-making in approving the 2025/2026 LTAP. Please note that all recommended projects will require future approvals from either the Board of Trustees and/or the Senior Staff, depending on the type of project. Additional reports will be shared as these next steps move forward. See below for milestones and next steps.
Navigating the Proposed Priority Projects
Priority projects may include, but are not limited to, new school projects, boundary reviews, enrolment redirections, and program and accommodation reviews. These projects are presented as short-term, medium-term, and long-term plans. Our goal is to provide an overview of planned actions so HDSB community members and stakeholders are aware of what projects to expect in the future, when to expect them, why they are necessary, and what the benefits will be to their community.
