Student and Family Support Office
The Halton District School Board is committed to supporting student success and developing strong partnerships with families throughout every stage of a child’s educational journey. To help ensure families have access to guidance and assistance when needed, the Student and Family Support Office offers an additional point of connection for parents/guardians seeking support from the HDSB. The office is available to help families navigate complex questions, address concerns and access information related to their child’s educational experience.
Before You Connect with the Student and Family Support Office
Questions and concerns are often resolved most effectively at the level closest to the situation, and your child’s school is the first point of contact.
To help ensure your question or concern is addressed as efficiently as possible, families are encouraged to review the information on the How to Resolve Issues and Concerns webpage. This resource outlines recommended first steps and can help identify the most appropriate contact based on the nature of your concern.
If you have followed these steps and your concern remains unresolved or requires additional support, the next step is to contact the Student and Family Support Office.
