Find My Local School

Use the Find My Local School tool to locate your designated school by entering your home address. The tool provides information on school boundaries for English and French Immersion programs for Secondary Programs, Pathways and Tools, and Special Education programs and Placement, please refer to their webpages.

To register your child for school, you'll find all the necessary information on the Register for Schools at HDSB page. If you're a new or returning family to the Halton Region, the Welcome Centre can assist, including support for English as a Second Language (ESL) and English Literacy Development (ELD) programs.

Adult, Alternative, and Continuing Education: The Gary Allan Learning Centres offer a variety of programs for students of all ages.

School Boundary Maps

The Planning Department now offers an interactive online map to view school boundaries within the Halton Region. This tool is accessible on both desktop and mobile devices and includes a print function. You can use the map to explore the boundaries of individual schools.

Halton Student Transportation Services: Transportation Eligibility

To determine your eligibility for bus transportation, please refer to the Bus Planner. 

For those living at a rural address in Halton, it's particularly important to confirm your designated home school and transportation eligibility before registration due to complex lotting patterns. You can verify this information using the School Locator and the Halton Student Transportation Eligibility tool. Additionally, we recommend contacting the HDSB Planning Services Department at plan@hdsb.ca to verify your home school and program offerings.
