Student Achievement Plan

The Halton District School Board’s 2023-2024 Student Achievement Plan enables the HDSB to measure student success, develop action plans and monitor ongoing progress. 

The 2023-2024 Student Achievement Plan was developed in accordance with the Government of Ontario’s Better Schools and Student Outcomes Act (2023), using data from the Ontario School Information System (OnSIS), 2021-2022, and the Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO), 2022-2023. 

The HDSB also draws on information collected in the HDSB Student Census to establish goals and performance indicators in alignment with the Director's Annual Report 2022-2023, as well as provincial priorities around:

• Achievement of Learning Outcomes in Core Academic Skills
• Preparation of Students for Future Success
• Student Engagement and Well-Being
