As this incredible school year comes to a close, I want to express my deepest gratitude to our wonderful staff, outstanding and delightful students, and dedicated families.
This year brought unique challenges as we navigated the relocation of our school, but your resilience, patience, unwavering support, and kindness turned those challenges into an absolute success. You proved that the heart of Paul A. Fisher isn't just a building - it is the incredible people inside it.
While we are proud of everything we achieved together this year, we are absolutely thrilled to be returning to our true home this September. We cannot wait to welcome our wonderful community back to a beautifully refinished and upgraded school on Cavendish Drive!
We wish all of our Graduating students nothing but the best and wish our families moving onto new schools continued success as well. You are all always welcome to visit us anytime.
As always, I will be sending a welcome back communication to our school community in September shortly before we return for our exciting new year.
To everyone, thank you for making this year so memorable and I wish all of you a very safe, happy, and well-deserved summer break!

Repost from last week: Staff Farewells
As we wrap up an incredible school year, we say a few bittersweet farewells. This coming September, some of our wonderful staff members will be moving on to new adventures and continuing their teaching journeys at other schools.
Among those departing are Ms. Laderman, Ms. Braich, and Ms. Dunlop.
While we are incredibly sad to see them go, we are immensely grateful for the dedication, passion, and warmth they have brought to our classrooms and community. They have made a lasting impact on our students and colleagues alike.
Please join us in thanking them for everything they’ve done for our school, and in wishing them the absolute best of luck in their next chapters! You will all be greatly missed

Looking ahead to a brand-new school year! While summer is just getting started, here are a few key dates to keep on your radar for our September start-up:

September 2 & 3: Professional Development Days for staff (no school for students).

September 4 (Friday before Labour Day): Keep an eye on your inbox! Families will receive an email by 5:00 PM sharing your child's new teacher and class placement.

September 8: The official first day of school for students!
Registrations for next year
We encourage all NEW families to register their children now for next year! This can be completed by registering at https://www.hdsb.ca/students-families/register-for-school/ or by calling/coming into our school office at Pearson H.S. anytime.
Existing families do not need to register each year.
