Paul A. Fisher PS Renovations Completed
We are excited to welcome students and staff back to Paul A. Fisher Public School for the start of the 2026-2027 school year.
Throughout the 2025-2026 school year Paul A. Fisher Public School underwent major interior renovations to enhance the school environment and address important facility upgrades. These improvements revitalized our learning spaces and amenities to enhance learning conditions and ensure the long-term sustainability of our facilities.
To maintain a positive learning environment throughout the renovation process, staff and students were temporarily relocated for the 2025-2026 school year and are being welcomed back to a fully refreshed building and newly renovated learning spaces for school start in September 2026.
Renovations Include
The construction updates included upgrading the original open-concept design of the school, space and amenities. Renovations include:
- New brick veneer around the entire building
- Relocation of the main office to improve sight lines and safety
- Relocation of the health room
- Creation of a new community classroom with kitchen, sensory room, and seminar spaces
- All new interior and exterior windows and doors
- New entrance canopy
- Complete replacement of the HVAC system, including all ductwork
- New sprinkler system
- New data/communication systems
- New flooring, ceilings, painting and millwork
- New gymnasium equipment
- New barrier-free lift to music room stage
- Outdoor Kindergarten play area and other outdoor enhancements
- New washroom
- And more!
