Kindergarten in the HDSB is a full-day, five-days-a-week program where learning happens through play, exploration and discovery.

Each classroom is supported by a caring team that includes an Ontario Certified Teacher and a Designated Early Childhood Educator, working together to support every child’s development.

Schulich Leader Scholarships awarded to HDSB’s Diya Kalia and Heidi Huang

Two HDSB students have been selected to become 2025 Schulich Leaders. Diya Kalia, Grade 12 student from Garth Webb Secondary School, and Heidi Huang, Grade 12 student from Iroquois Ridge High School, have both received the honour for their outstanding achievements and character.
