Help Name Oakville’s New Secondary School
The excitement has been building and now it’s time to make your mark on Oakville’s newest high school. As the Halton District School Board prepares to open our new school at 4020 Sixth Line in September 2027, we’re looking for your help to help shape the school’s identity.
From Aug. 17 - Sept. 13, 2026, students, families and community members are invited to bring their creativity and submit name suggestions for the new school.

Every idea will be reviewed by a committee representing students, parents/guardians and staff to build a top shortlist. The Board of Trustees will then select a name to submit to the Ministry of Education for final approval. Once approved, the official name will be unveiled community-wide.
