Transcript Request

For any transcript requests from current students, please see your guidance counsellor or email cabadayc@hdsb.ca.

To request a transcript if you are no longer registered as a student, please complete the following steps:

  1. Fill out the the Halton District School Board's Transcript Request Form

  2. Pay the fee at School Cash Online and submit the completed form

Please note:

  • The fee is located under the "Halton District School Board" tab in School Cash Online. In the fee search bar type "Garth Webb Transcript Fee"

  • Include the receipt # for the fee on the transcript request form 

  • Send the completed Transcript Request Form to the GWSS Guidance department along with a scan or image of your photo ID for verification purposes via cabadayc@hdsb.ca.

Transcript: is an official record of all academic achievements

Credit Counselling Summary: is an informal summary of the credits you have achieved, documented community involvement hours, completion of the Ontario Secondary Literacy Test, and courses selected for the next year.

To obtain your official transcript, please complete the Request for Transcript Form. Transcript requests are processed by Secondary School Guidance staff.

Applying to Ontario Colleges or Universities?

  • You must be a former HDSB student.
  • You’ll need to pay a transcript fee online.
  • You only need to request one transcript. It will be forwarded to all your post-secondary choices by the application centre.

Still in secondary school? You do not need to request a transcript - your school will send it directly to OCAS or OUAC for you.

Transcript Fees

  • First two copies: $20.00
  • Each additional copy (ordered at the same time): $5.00

Requesting a Transcript for Other Reasons

  1. Contact the last HDSB secondary school you attended.
  2. Complete and submit the Request for Transcript Form.
  3. Include a cheque or money order (non-refundable).
  4. Bring valid photo ID when picking up your transcript.

Mail-in Requests

Mail the completed form, payment, and a photocopy of your ID directly to the last HDSB secondary school you attended.

Summer Support for OUAC/OCAS Inquiries

During the summer, Gary Allan Learning Centre (GALC) staff are available to support urgent student needs related to OUAC and OCAS. This team can assist with post-secondary processes and make necessary updates to student accounts.

Students and families are encouraged to first contact their home school. If home school staff are unavailable, please reach out to GALC at summerschool@hdsb.ca
