Your voice matters.
All parents/guardians are invited to our first School Council meeting, Thursday September 24 @ 7:00 p.m., held in the Library where the Council for the 2026-2027 school year will be decided. Parents interested in holding an elected position on Council are asked to complete and submit this FORM by Thursday, September 16, 2026 at 4:00 pm.

Meetings are held in the Nelson Library. They begin at 7:00PM.
Every Ontario school has a school council - a vital advisory group that supports student achievement and strengthens the connection between families, schools and the education system. Parents can run for election each fall. By joining, you help shape the learning experience in your school and contribute to a strong, collaborative education system. Your voice matters.
All parents/guardians are encouraged to attend our School Council meetings and to consider holding a position on our Council for the 2026-2027 School Year. We value your insights as we continue to support our entire school community with a focus on promoting the intellectual engagement and well-being of all Nelson students.
