Parents/Guardians of Grade 9 students are required to complete THIS FORM. Students must return the completed form to their Period 1 teacher by Friday, October 16, 2026.
Take Our Kids to Work (TOKW) is Canada’s leading career-exploration program, providing young people with meaningful opportunities to experience the world of work, discover diverse career pathways, and connect their learning to future possibilities.
This year's theme, Different Perspectives, Shared Direction, celebrates the diverse backgrounds, experiences, interests, and aspirations of people who work across Canada.

Forms
- The Student Declaration for External Course Registration form must be completed by HDSB students registering for a course through an external provider. It ensures the credit is eligible for inclusion on their Ontario Student Transcript and outlines important responsibilities and deadlines for students, families, and schools.
- The eLearning opt out form form allows parents/guardians or eligible students to formally opt out of the Ontario eLearning graduation requirement, which mandates two online course credits as part of the OSSD.
