Autumn Peltier visits multiple HDSB schools

​The HDSB is hosting Autumn Peltier at multiple HDSB schools during National Indigenous History Month to highlight the brilliance and contributions of Indigenous peoples. Staff and students have been preparing for Autumn's presentation by learning about her work and her advocacy for water and Indigenous rights.

This experience reflects the HDSB's commitment to Indigenous Rights and Education, as outlined in our Multi-Year Strategic Plan, and our ongoing efforts to amplify Indigenous voices throughout the school year in different areas of the curriculum.
