Halton District School Board celebrates 41st annual Celebration of Student Excellence event
The Halton District School Board is proud to recognize the success of 108 students at the 41st annual Celebration of Student Excellence event at Elsie MacGill SS (1410 Bronte St S, Milton) on Thursday, May 8 at 7 p.m. Each year, one student from each HDSB elementary and secondary school is honoured for their excellence in self-improvement, enhancing the school and/or local community, citizenship, student leadership, academics, vocational studies and specialized programs or extra-curricular activities.
Students of Excellence and two guests can attend the celebration in-person. Additional friends and family are invited to celebrate virtually by viewing the livestream of the event which will be available on the HDSB website (hdsb.ca) on Thursday, May 8 at 7 p.m. A recording of the event will remain online for families to view afterward.
“Our 2025 Students of Excellence exemplify the remarkable learning and leadership taking place across all HDSB schools,” says Amy Collard, Chair of the Halton District School Board. “These students have made meaningful contributions that enhance our schools and positively impact our communities. The entire HDSB community celebrates their outstanding achievements.”
