Supporting Students & Staff Following Recent Tragedy in British Columbia

We are deeply saddened by the school shooting in northern British Columbia. Our thoughts are with the students, staff, families and community members of Tumbler Ridge, BC and all those impacted by this devastating tragedy. In honour of those affected, flags at HDSB offices and schools have been lowered.

News like this can be upsetting for young people. Families are encouraged to check in with their children and remind them that support is available through their school if needed.
