HDSB Students Demonstrate Creative Excellence in Peer-led Multimedia Challenge
Halton District School Board Student Trustees Jay Xu and Kaitlyn Hou launched a board-wide Multimedia Competition to foster a culture of respect, safety and hygiene in shared school facilities. This initiative, rooted in the HDSB's commitment to Kindness, Connection and Community, encouraged students to take pride in their school environment through creative expression.
Participants from Kindergarten to Grade 12 submitted more than 180 works of art to promote clean and welcoming washroom spaces, gaining valuable experience in civic engagement. Entries were assessed by a group of student judges. The following students have been recognized for their outstanding contributions and commitment to making their schools a better place.
