The Halton District School Board is proud to recognize the success of 108 students at the 41st annual Celebration of Student Excellence event at Elsie MacGill SS (1410 Bronte St S, Milton) on Thursday, May 8 at 7 p.m.

The Halton District School Board and Halton Local - Ontario Principals' Council (OPC) are pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached for the renewed local Terms and Conditions of Employment for Principal & Vice-Principals. Halton OPC represents approximately 232 Principals and Vice-Principals.

Halton District School Board (HDSB) students excelled at the annual Bay Area Science and Engineering Fair (BASEF), held in late March.

Students from the I-STEM program at Thomas A. Blakelock HS, Elsie MacGill SS and Aldershot School have been selected as regional finalists in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow competition, where students across Canada create innovative solutions to real-world problems using Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) learning.

A total of five FIRST robotics teams from the Halton District School Board (HDSB) will compete at the FIRST Ontario Provincial Championship in Mississauga April 2-5. 

Families, students, staff and community members are invited to attend an upcoming session as part of the Director’s Panel Series.

The Halton District School Board and the Halton Catholic District School Board have received final approval from the Ontario Ministry of Education for the 2025-2026 school year calendar. 

The Halton District School Board is pleased to announce secondary school students Kaitlyn Hou and Jay Xu as the Board’s Student Trustees for the next school year (2025-2026).
