HDSB Celebrates Recipients of the 2026 Governor General’s Academic Medal
Aug. 18, 2026 - The Halton District School Board (HDSB) is proud to recognize the outstanding academic achievements of 16 graduating students who have been named recipients of the 2026 Governor General’s Academic Medal.
Presented annually, the Governor General’s Academic Bronze Medal honours a graduating student at each secondary school who achieves the highest academic standing in their graduating class. The award recognizes students whose dedication, perseverance and commitment to learning have resulted in exceptional academic achievement.
The HDSB extends its congratulations to this year’s recipients and celebrates the hard work and accomplishments that have marked their secondary school journeys.
