Milton District High School’s Brody Clark has become one of Canada’s most exciting young distance runners. The Grade 12 student recently made history at the McQuaid Invitational, one of the largest and most competitive high school cross-country meets in North America. Brody not only won the varsity boys’ race but set a course record, running three miles in 14:29, which is the fastest time recorded on the course since it was redesigned in 2021.

Oct. 20, 2025 - The Halton District School Board is now accepting registrations for Junior (Year 1) and Senior (Year 2) Kindergarten for September 2026. Registration can be completed online or in-person. Families are encouraged to complete registration as early as possible.

The Halton District School Board is seeking one community member with financial expertise and business knowledge to serve on its Audit Committee for a three-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2026 and ending Dec. 31, 2028. The HDSB is seeking a community member who embraces a welcoming and inclusive environment and is willing to dedicate their time to make a lasting contribution.
Sept. 24, 2025 - On Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025, the Halton District School Board will host a board-wide, interactive Secondary School Open House at Craig Kielburger Secondary School in Milton (1151 Ferguson Dr, Milton).
Sept. 9, 2025 - Starting Kindergarten is a big milestone, and the Halton District School Board (HDSB) wants to ensure families feel prepared and excited as they set their children on the path to lifelong learning and success. Families with children who will be starting Kindergarten in September 2026 are invited to attend the HDSB’s Calling All Three-Year-Olds Kindergarten Open Houses this October and November in Acton, Georgetown, Burlington, Milton and Oakville.
