The Halton District School Board is celebrating the remarkable achievements of several students who placed among the top three in the world at the prestigious DECA International Career Development Conference, held on April 26-29, 2025.
Students from the Halton District School Board (HDSB) will participate in the 38th annual Special Athletics Track Meet on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Garth Webb Secondary School (2820 Westoak Trails Blvd, Oakville).
Families, students, staff and community members are invited to attend an upcoming session as part of the Director’s Panel Series.
Through meaningful discussions and hands-on activities, students are learning how to care for themselves, support their peers and make informed choices that strengthen their school communities. With support from educators and Halton Region Public Health, this learning series is all about empowering youth and promoting well-being.

Jennie is the successful candidate of the hiring process that took place throughout April and May, following the announcement of Associate Director of Education Tina Salmini’s retirement.
