The Halton District School Board will host the 33rd annual Halton Skills Competition, with the elementary competition taking place on Tuesday, Feb. 25 and Wednesday, Feb. 26 at the New Street Education Centre (3250 New St., Burlington), and the secondary competition held on Thursday, March 20 at Georgetown District High School (70 Guelph St., Georgetown).
Grade 9 students at Abbey Park High School (APHS) utilized elements of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create a project designed to highlight the importance of environmental sustainability ‒ culminating in a gallery walk at the Oakville school where the community could view and discuss the work.
