The International Languages Elementary Program which operates through the Continuing Education Program of Gary Allan High School is a non-credit language program which serves over 2,000 students aged JK- Grade 8 each year and is delivered in several elementary schools across the region.
Gary Allan High School welcomes applicants for the position of ILE Site Supervisor for the 2017-2018 school year. The ILE Site Supervisor will serve a critical role in developing and maintaining a partnership with the elementary program site and the ILE teaching staff. Successful candidates must demonstrate strong leadership skills and strength in curriculum delivery and classroom management. Candidates must also be members of the Ontario College of Teachers. Supervisory experience would be an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have OCT Qualifications,
Elementary Teaching Experience is an asset
RESPONSIBILITIES:
On-site supervision of students and program delivery
Implementation and development of operational procedures to ensure safe and supportive operations of language program
Coaching, mentoring and support for teaching staff
Facilitation of a partnership and communication plan between elementary host school and ILE staff
Coordination of plan to order, access and store teaching supplies and curriculum materials
On-site support for students, teachers and families
Promotion of ILE program
