What does virtual learning look like in HDSB?
-
eLearning - asynchronous learning online.
-
Summer School - eLearning during summer from Gary Allan HS.
- Secondary Virtual Learning - The majority of students in HDSB secondary schools have chosen to return to in-person learning. Consequently, e-learning has been made available as an alternative for students who are unable to attend in person.
Elementary Virtual/Remote Learning - Due to the majority of our students opting for in-person learning, the Halton District School Board (HDSB) has experienced a significant decrease in the number of students interested in virtual learning, limiting our ability to offer this option. If your student has a medical condition that prevents them from attending in-person classes, we encourage you to speak with your school principal about the possibility of enrolling in the Peel District School Board's virtual elementary school program.
