Halton eLearning allows students to enrich their schooling by earning secondary school credits through online courses. eLearning students have access to their teacher, classmates and electronic resources for the duration of their eLearning classes. Taking eLearning classes is one of the ways students can prepare for a post-secondary education.
Is eLearning right for you?
eLearning is engaging and challenging but it is not suitable for everyone.
You need self-motivation, initiative and fluency in English for reading and writing. The courses are as demanding and time-consuming as face-to-face classes. Students are expected to keep up with course due dates – the same as in person classes.
Find out if you are suitable for eLearning
Halton eLearning has a series of quizzes students can take to find out if they are suited to the eLearning process. The site also lists the current classes available as well as support information.
