Regional Information Sessions​

Families are invited to attend any of the information sessions for Regional Programs. 

*I-STEM - November 3, 2022 (7:00 pm start at all sites)

*International Baccalaureate (IB) - October 20, 2022 (see start times below)
  • Burlington Central High School (6:30 pm)
  • Craig Kielburger Secondary School (6:00 pm)
  • Georgetown District High School (6:00 pm)
  • White Oaks Secondary School (6:00 pm and 7:00 pm); 30 minute sessions each

*LEAP (for current Grade 7s) - week of February 6-10, 2023 (details TBD) 
Details will be shared with elementary administration, special education resource teachers (SERTs), and student success teachers.

HDSB has over 60 Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) and Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP). Information sessions for these regional programs will be held in November 2022.

*Community Pathways Program 
The Community Pathways Program is an IPRC Self-Contained Placement Program designed for students with special education needs who are primarily accessing non-credit courses. Information sessions for these regional programs will be held virtually:
