Background
Prior to the establishment of the PARC for Southeast Oakville, a number of studies had been initiated in Southeast Oakville.
Creation of the PARC was approved by the Halton District School Board on March 21, 2007. This PARC was required to review the program and accommodation issues at all schools in the Southeast Oakville area. The first committee meetings took place in May and June 2007 and then continued from September 2007 until March 2008.
The PARC final report was released in March 28, which is provided below, along with additional documentation.

Facilitator's Report and Ward 3 Community Consultation
After the PARC Report, the community petitioned for an administrative review of the Board's July 2008 decision. Provincial facilitator, David Cooke, was assigned to review the Board’s recent Program and Accommodation Review Committee study in Southeast Oakville (PARC 14), and whether it adhered to Board policy. A summary of the shortcomings of the process, as well as suggestions moving forward with accommodation needs in Southeast Oakville, are also outlined in Cooke’s report.
As a result of the provincial facilitator's observations and suggestions regarding the S.E. Oakville PARC (PE14) process, the Halton District School Board undertook a Community Consultation Process to address program and accommodation issues in Southeast (Ward 3) Oakville. See the documents below for more information.
