Lester B. Pearson Artifacts and Memorabilia Subcommittee Update
This subcommittee has been working many hours to catalogue artifacts and memorabilia housed at Lester B. Pearson.
In determining the items for display at M.M. Robinson High School, they have asked, “What are the most important pieces to select to represent the history of Lester B. Pearson High School?”
In response to this question, the subcommittee has developed the following criteria for selection:
- Value: Tells the viewer the most information about an event/person(s)/idea in the school’s history
- Relevance: Artifact has a direct connection to the school’s history/community
- Rarity: Captures a unique/elite/singular/powerful achievement in the school’s history
- Evokes a connection: Evokes a feeling of pride/ satisfaction/joy about the school
The subcommittee will also be publishing a webpage in April to provide opportunities for students, staff, alumni and community members who may want a momento from the school from the remaining catalogued items.
