Research Department | Halton District School Board
The Halton District School Board supports research that is deemed worthwhile and to have a high degree of educational relevance. Research must directly support our ability to provide the highest quality education that prepares our students for success as responsible, participating citizens of the local and global communities.
Well-designed and relevant research initiatives will support the development and application of best practices in our programs, methodology and/or will provide information to our school communities that will enable them to more effectively meet the needs of our children.
The Halton District School Board encourages the submission of research proposals from both HDSB employees and external investigators and organizations. It is the responsibility of the Research Advisory Committee to review all research submissions and provide recommendations to School Operations for decision.
